ROBBERY ARREST On 9-7-23, Atascadero Police Department officers responded to a report of a robbery in the area of the 6700 block of El Camino Real. The victim reported a Hispanic male juvenile attempted to steal his bicycle while brandishing a handgun at him. On 5-17-23, at approximately 11:55 PM, APD officers responded to Outlaws Bar and Grill located in the 9800 block of East Front Road regarding a robbery that just occurred. On 5-17-23, at 5:51 AM, APD officers responded to Circle K (6930 Morro Rd.) regarding a robbery that had just occurred. The clerk reported to officers that a male adult, wearing a blonde curly wig, showed her a gun concealed in his waistband and demanded all the money from the cash drawer. City of Atascadero Police Department Media Release: Forgery/ Possession of a Firearm

On April 17, 2023, at approximately 3:08 PM, Atascadero Police officers responded to Mechanics Bank, located in the 6900 block of El Camino Real, regarding a suspect who fled the bank on foot after attempting to pass a forged check.
