On 5-17-23, at 5:51 AM, APD officers responded to Circle K (6930 Morro Rd.) regarding a robbery that had just occurred. The clerk reported to officers that a male adult, wearing a blonde curly wig, showed her a gun concealed in his waistband and demanded all the money from the cash drawer. City of Atascadero Police Department Media Release: Forgery/ Possession of a Firearm

On April 17, 2023, at approximately 3:08 PM, Atascadero Police officers responded to Mechanics Bank, located in the 6900 block of El Camino Real, regarding a suspect who fled the bank on foot after attempting to pass a forged check.
