Spring Adult Basketball Registration Now OPEN! Registration Ends March 2nd

Grab your sneakers, rally your squad, and get ready to run the court! Whether you’re here to drain threes or just break a sweat and have some fun, this league has a spot for you. You miss 100% of the kicks you don't take! - Be sure to get your team registered for the upcoming 2026 Spring Season of Atascadero Recreation's Adult Kickball League. Games will be held on Wednesday evenings/nights at the Paloma Creek Softball fields. Games are scheduled to begin on Wednesday April 15th & run through June 3rd, allowing 8 evenings of games. The City of Atascadero will begin a monthly “Coffee with a Planner” series to expand opportunities for the community to connect with City planning staff. Youth T-Ball Registration Now OPEN! Registration Ends February 27th

The City of Atascadero is proud to announce Youth T-Ball Registration is here! This league focuses on teaching the basics of baseball in a fun and instructional atmosphere where the main goal is to have fun. T-Ball is open to boys and girls who are 4.5 to 6 years old. Atascadero PD to Conduct DUI Checkpoint on Dec. 19, 2025

On 12-19-25, the Atascadero Police Department will conduct a driving under the influence (DUI) Checkpoint December 19th from 6:00 p.m. to December 20th  2:00 a.m. at an undisclosed location.    DUI checkpoint locations are determined based on data showing incidents of impaired driving-related crashes. On December 9, 2025, the Atascadero City Council unanimously adopted a new Fireworks Social Host Ordinance designed to reduce illegal fireworks, strengthen public safety, and protect neighborhoods during high-risk fire seasons.
