New Nature Play Area & Inaugural “Noon Year’s Eve” Celebration Coming to the Central Coast Zoo!

On 12-19-25, the Atascadero Police Department will conduct a driving under the influence (DUI) Checkpoint December 19th from 6:00 p.m. to December 20th 2:00 a.m. at an undisclosed location. Atascadero Adopts New Social Host Ordinance to Reduce Illegal Fireworks and Protect Community Safety
On December 9, 2025, the Atascadero City Council unanimously adopted a new Fireworks Social Host Ordinance designed to reduce illegal fireworks, strengthen public safety, and protect neighborhoods during high-risk fire seasons. The Central Coast Zoo is pleased to announce Holiday Magic on Saturday, December 20th, from 10 am until 1 pm!
