The City of Atascadero and A-town Park are proud to invite the public to a special “Outdoor Skate Area Ribbon Cutting” celebrating recent improvements to the facility. The event will take place on Friday, January 16th at 4:30 p.m., at George C. Beatie Skate Park, 5493 Traffic Way. Atascadero Fire & Emergency Services would like to announce the Fire Hazard Reduction Burn Season will officially open this year on January 12th for Atascadero residents. Just a reminder that the burn day status, whether it is a permissive burn day or not, changes daily and is determined by the California Air Resources Board and North County weather conditions. This league focuses on teaching the basics of baseball in a fun and instructional atmosphere where the main goal is to have fun. T-Ball is open to boys and girls who are 4.5 to 6 years old.
