City Clerk

The City Clerk is the local official who administers democratic processes such as elections, access to municipal records, and all legislative actions ensuring transparency to the public.

City Manager's Office

Under the direction of the City Manager, the City Manager’s office supervises and administers the programs and services provided by all departments within the City of Atascadero.

Community Development

Planning, Building, Economic Development, and Central Reception support the character, vitality, and natural environment of the City by coordinating planning and development activities.

Community Services & Promotions

The Community Services & Promotions Department offers a wide range of services from classes to leagues, activities to programs, along with things to do from events to local entertainment! There's always something for all ages to enjoy.

Fire & Emergency Services

Atascadero Fire & Emergency Services is an “all risk” agency, meaning the organization responds to emergencies such as medical aids, structure fires, wildland fires, vehicle collisions, hazardous materials incidents, technical rescues, and public service assists.

Human Resources

Human Resources coordinates the recruitment, selection, training, evaluation, and growth of employees within the City of Atascadero and supports current employees' benefits, work environment, and safety programs.

Police Department

The Atascadero Police Department strives to provide premier, courteous service for our community to collaborative partnerships, serving professionally, and being intentional in the personal growth of each member.
