- DESCRIPTION OFCONDITIONSUPON ARRIVAL: Upon arrival units found a single story single family residence with heavy smoke coming from the eaves and gable vents. As the first unit was giving a report of a working attic fire, the roof collapsed on a portion of the structure. All occupants were reported to be out of the structure.
- ANY UNUSUAL PROBLEMS DURING FIRE DEPARTMENT OPERATION: The homeowner, while evacuating, opened windows and doors to help clear the smoke. This increased the oxygen supply to the attic fire dramatically speeding the spread.
- MINUTES UNTIL EMERGENCY WAS CONTROLLED: 58 minutes
