Night Construction Scheduled for El Camino Real near Del Rio Road

The City has approved a request for night work on El Camino Real just north of Del Rio Road for two nights on Sunday, July 14th and Monday, July 15th.  Work involves trenching and installing a private sewer lateral and connecting to the City sanitary sewer main for a new commercial development at 1860 El Camino Real.  Night work is expected to occur between 8:00 pm and 5:00 am. 

This approval will minimize traffic delays on El Camino Real and impacts to the City’s sanitary collection system.  During construction, El Camino Real will be reduced to one lane, with traffic shifted to the east side of the roadway to allow for the construction area.  The contractor will be responsible to supply traffic control and flaggers, and residents are asked to please be respectful of construction workers and drive carefully through this area during the work.
