Our Permit Center is located at 6500 Palma Avenue. Office hours are Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. by appointment ONLY.
COVID-19 Update:
At this time, the Atascadero City Hall is temporarily closed to the public to help maintain social distancing and reduce potential exposure to staff and the community. Although our main lobby remains closed, the City will continue to provide services to the community and we are actively working to develop new ways of providing these services while following CDC and Health Department guidelines.

***At this time City Hall and the Permit Counter staff are only available on an appointment basis. Please direct all questions to staff via email or phone call and we will respond as soon as possible as we have limited resources available at this time. Please note the following:

Select the appropriate application for the project in Section 1. In Section 2, select the documentation according to the person that will be accepting responsiblity for the permit issuance and completion. Additional documentation is available in Section 3 as required.
*** A complete Application will be for a Contractor will be 3 pages long; a complete Owner Builder Application will be 4 pages. Descriptions must include the complete scope of work.
Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Form 433 - Manufactured Home Registration.
INTAKE MEETINGS ARE REQUIRED FOR:
* Residential projects exceeding 500 SF; remodels including structural changes; and all Code Enforcement remedies
* All Commercial projects excluding "like for like" repairs
