Temporary Closure of Northbound Highway 101 Off-Ramp at San Ramon Road
Beginning Tuesday, May 13th and continuing through Thursday, May 15th, travelers on northbound US 101 will encounter a temporary closure of the San Ramon Road off-ramp. This closure is due to City roadway paving work on El Camino Real at the intersection with the San Ramon off-ramp. The northbound US 101 on-ramp at this location will remain open during this work. The City of Atascadero 9th Annual Tamale Festival had over 140 vendors in attendance with over twenty-five vendors specializing in tamales of all kinds from our local restaurants, as well as from across California! City of Atascadero Announces Fire Hazard Severity Zones Workshop - May 7, 2025
The City of Atascadero invites the community to attend a workshop to review and provide comments on the new State Fire Hazard Severity Zone and local Wildland Urban Interface maps on Wednesday, May 7th from 3:30 to 5:30 at the City Hall front lobby, located at 6500 Palma Avenue. The City of Atascadero is pleased to announce the 9th Annual Tamale Festival to be held in the Sunken Gardens and Downtown Atascadero on Friday, May 2nd from 5:30 – 8 pm and Saturday, May 3rd from 11 am until 7 pm! The Atascadero Police Department will hold a special ceremony to honor the life and heroism of 11-year-old Jose Gutierrez, who tragically lost his life in a hit-and-run accident earlier this year. Registration is NOW OPEN for the Co-ed Youth Volleyball League!
The City of Atascadero is excited to announce that registration for the Co-ed Youth Volleyball League is now OPEN! The City of Atascadero’s Co-ed Youth Volleyball League places emphasis on learning the fundamentals, player participation, teamwork, and fun! Games and practices will be held on Tuesday or Thursday evenings. Practice will begin on June 17th with league games beginning on Tuesday, July 1st. Temporary Detours and Intermittent Closures on El Camino Real, between Hwy. 41 and Traffic Way
To take advantage of reduced school traffic during Spring Break and to lessen the impacts associated with the ECR Project construction, El Camino Real between Hwy. 41 and Traffic Way will have temporary detours and intermittent closures the week of April 14-18.
