City of Atascadero Improves Pedestrian Accessibility Near Intersection of El Camino Real & Santa Rosa Road

Atascadero Police Department Executes Search Warrants in Drug Sales Investigation

On March 5, 2025, the Atascadero Police Department, in collaboration with the Paso Robles Police Department and the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, executed three search warrants as part of a six-month investigation into the sale of illegal narcotics. The warrants were served at two residences associated with the suspects and at a local business where the suspects are employed. This case remains under investigation. Adult Social Kickball – 2025 Spring Season Team Registration NOW OPEN!

The City of Atascadero is excited to announce registration for the Adult Kickball League is OPEN! Channel your inner fourth grader and sign your team up to play this season! Games will be held on Wednesday evenings at the Paloma Creek softball fields. The Spring season is scheduled to begin games on Wednesday, April 9th, and conclude on Wednesday, May 28th. Adult Basketball – 2025 Spring Season Team Registrations NOW OPEN!

The City of Atascadero is excited for the upcoming Adult Basketball season! We are ready to get everyone back on the court at Colony Park Community Center for the Spring Season. The league will run from March 23rd through June 1st, allowing for 7 regular season games and at least one game in the end of season tournament. The City of Atascadero and the Charles Paddock Zoo are pleased to announce the new addition of the three young Mexican Spider Monkeys that arrived at the Charles Paddock Zoo (from another AZA accredited Zoo) to join our longtime resident Spider Monkey, Izzy. Temporary Detour from Southbound El Camino Real To Traffic Way to begin Tuesday

Beginning Tuesday, February 11th, motorists on southbound El Camino Real will encounter a temporary detour at Traffic Way.  The detour will not begin prior to 8:30 am to minimize disruptions for school drop-off and commuters.  Drivers will be detoured onto Traffic Way, then onto Palma Avenue, then onto West Mall where they can re-enter southbound El Camino Real.  There are no closures or detours for northbound El Camino Real and Entrada Ave. will remain open.  The…
