Basement demolition is approaching final completion.  The site was cleared of all concrete debris.  Lead soils abatement commenced at the basement shooting range.  Soils were removed and stored in containment bins.  MECA, the hazardous materials consultant, took samples of the soils in the lead area to confirm contaminated soils removal is complete.  Soils test results shall be confirmed by Monday January 31^st.  The completion of basement demolition activities include final clean up of concrete debris at basement, removal and capping of existing sanitary sewer lines, and site storm water protection.　 Upcoming activities for the Atascadero City Hall include penthouse demolition, foundation and micro-piles, structural shotcrete walls, earthwork, and full historic repair and rehabilitation.
