Welcome to the City of Atascadero's Building Services Department.

Our Permit Center is located at 6500 Palma Avenue.  Office hours are Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

 

The City makes every effort to maintain forms with the most current infomation. Forms are not guaranteed to have the most current fees or to include all requirements for all project types.

 

Fee increase effective July 29, 2019

Select the appropriate application for the project in Section 1. In Section 2, select the documentation according to the person that will be accepting responsiblity for the permit issuance and completion. Additional documentation is available in Section 3 as required.

  • Authorized Agent - Required to act on behalf of the Owner.

  • Limitations Form- Required to be signed for all applications submitted at the Permit Counter and Online. 

 

INTAKE MEETINGS ARE REQUIRED FOR:

*  Residential projects exceeding 500 SF; remodels including structural changes; and all Code Enforcement remedies

 * All Commercial projects excluding "like for like" repairs

 

To schedule an Intake, please email permitcenter@atascadero.org or call 805-461-5035. Intakes are held at the City Hall Permit Counter Monday thru Friday 9-4 (excluding holidays)
